"Moving forward together: 6 decades of engineering in Gipuzkoa".

ROUNDTABLE

During the current academic year 2021-2022 Tecnun commemorates its 60th anniversary. Within the commemorative events, a first event will be held on Wednesday January 26 in Beasain in which will be attended by teachers, alumni, entrepreneurs, researchers and representatives of institutions.

Three alumni - Arantxa Tapia (Tecnun'87)Councilor of development Economic of the Basque Government, Josu Imaz (Tecnun'02)director general vehicle manager at CAF and president of Solaris Bus&Coach, y Eider Sanchez (Tecnun'09)co-founder of the start-up Naru Intelligence - will participate in a roundtable entitled. "Moving forward together: 6 decades of engineering in Gipuzkoa". The colloquium will be moderated by the journalist of the Diario Vasco, Julio Díaz de Alda.

The goal is to deepen on the evolution of the Gipuzkoa industry and on the contribution of Tecnun to knowledge and technology. They will be accompanied by the Professor Emeritus of the School, Justino Fernández, and by the director of Tecnun, Raúl Antón.

If the status health permits, an aperitif will be served at the end of the event in the Igartza Palace.

VENUE: This meeting will be held at the Igartza Palace, in Beasain, a municipality in the Goierri region, an area closely linked to the industrial development and where many of the companies where engineering professionals who have graduated from the classrooms of Tecnun work are located.
