The University offers its students and alumni an Internship and Employment Service that accompanies them in their career guidance
The Internship and Employment Service of Tecnun aims to promote, develop and implement cooperation programs with companies, both nationally and internationally, within which are framed internships, final projects, training seminars and research support. All this has a positive impact on the training of graduates and on the achievement of the objectives of the companies and institutions that participate in them.
Are you looking for an internship in a company?
From the Internship and Employment Service of Tecnun we help students in the search for opportunities that allow them to complement their university education by doing an internship in a company or public or private institution. Students put into practice the knowledge they have acquired and develop the skills they will need in their next professional career.
The internship can be done at any time of the academic year according to the student's status and the needs of the company. It is very common for internships to take place during the summer, respecting the vacation period and the schedule established by the company.
The duration of the stay will preferably not exceed fifty percent (50%) of academic year, without prejudice to what is established by Tecnun, ensuring the correct development and monitoring of the student's academic activities.
External academic internships for university students will be regulated in accordance with the provisions of RD 592/2014, of July 11, RD 1791/2010, of December 30, which approves the Statute of the University Student and other applicable legislation. It has an academic nature and therefore there is no employment relationship between the company and student. They are formalized through a collaboration agreement framework between the University of Navarra and the company.
Students are covered by a insurance policy accident and liability insurance during the internship period, in addition to the School Insurance available to all students enrolled in Tecnun under 28 years of age. The accident insurance has national coverage only.
If you wish to offer an internship, you must access the University of Navarra'sPortal where you can register and publish the offer. The cv's of students interested in the offer will be sent directly to the email address or to link provided by the company.
The exchange of financial aid for the students' internships is voluntary. In the event of remuneration, the company pays directly to student.
Since July 2013, the rules and regulations on Social Security contributions included in the R.D. 1493/2011 requires the registration of students who perform paid internships with financial aid. The company will be responsible for paying directly to student and for registering them with the Social Security.
At the end of the internship period, the company will issue a certificate to the student who has completed the internship with accredited specialization expressing his or her training, duration and performance.
For any questions or enquiry please contact contact with the External Relations Service.
We aim to be the link between the company and the university, trying to satisfy the human capital needs of the former and reflecting the concerns and needs of the labour market in the latter.
