Emakumeak Zientzian
Tecnun and Ceit are part of the committee Organizer of Emakumeak Zientzian, an initiative that seeks to make visible the activity of women in science and encourage the choice of scientific careers among girls and adolescents. With these objectives in mind, 17 entities of the Basque science and technology sector have organized a joint program of activities on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which is celebrated every year on February 11.

Tecnun will host a workshop aimed at young people between 14 and 18 years old, in which small laboratory practices in Mechanics, design, Biomedical, Electronics and Industrial Organization will be carried out. There will also be a presentation of the automotive club Tecnun eRAcing and the electric vehicle manufactured entirely by engineering students.

Victoria Eugenia Club Aretoa - Donostia / San Sebastián + Online
Six women scientists who work in different centers in the San Sebastian area will take the stage of the Victoria Eugenia's conference room Club to talk about the research in which they are involved and pay tribute to some of the great women scientists of history through the story of their fascinating lives and scientific contributions.
Among them will be Miren Aristizabal, researcher in the advanced manufacturing in powder metallurgy and laser group at Ceit.
