More than 280 students and graduates participate in the University's virtual banking fair and consultancy service
In total, 18 companies received more than 780 applications for internships and job offers at the second edition of the Virtual Career Forum Banking & Consulting.

The virtual banking sector fair and consultancy service of the University of Navarra is held in the first semester of the course to respond to the recruitment needs of companies in the banking sector and consultancy service. On this occasion, Abante Asesores, Bain & Company, Banca March, Banco Santander, Bluecap, Boston Consulting Group, DC Advisory, Deloitte, Deloitte Belgium, Evercore, EY, KPMG Spain, Management Solutions, Minsait, Nfoque Advisory Services, Oliver Wyman, PwC Spain and Simon-Kucher & Partners participated in the event. More than 280 students and graduates, most of them from School of Economics and Business Administration and the School of Engineering due to the subject profiles demanded by the companies, were able to apply for the 43 internship and job offers published. In total, participants made more than 780 applications for the positions offered during the four days the fair was open (October 18-21).
Carlos Soroeta Rodríguez, graduate in Industrial Organization Engineering and student of Master's Degree in Technological Innovation, was able to take advantage of the fair with the goal to complete his Master's Thesis (TFM). "The experience has been good because I have been able to observe the involvement of companies in the recruitment of students from the University and, in my case, fortunately there have been several companies that have immediately contacted me at contact as soon as I applied," says Carlos Soroeta.
The platform also allowed candidates and recruiters to interact through a chat and one-to-one interviews. In total, 308 private conversations were established between students and companies. Ayrton Vargas, student 4th year Degree at Economics, says: "Events like this demonstrate the University's commitment to our professional development not only by giving us solid academic instructions , but also the opportunity to apply them in world-class companies".
The online format allows students who are on Erasmus to also enjoy the fair. This is the case of Enrique Morales Novoa, student , a 4th year student of Degree in Industrial Organization Engineering who is currently at Mid Sweden University in Sweden: "I was able to find very interesting offers for me, from internships to permanent jobs. What I liked the most is the ease of applying to multiple opportunities in a simple way and being able to solve my doubts. I believe that by participating in these events we can be more aware of the skills we need to work on to improve."
The University's next virtual job fair will be held on February 22-23, 2022 and will be multi-sectoral, meaning it will be open to companies from all fields and profiles from all subject.
