"Among the objectives of Tecnun is to improve the competencies and skills of students and graduates in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship." These are the words of Gustavo Pego, Director of Corporate Entrepreneurship at the University of Navarra. The B+INVAS program was created to promote innovation and entrepreneurship, with the support of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and BIC Gipuzkoa.

"B+INVAS is a training competition that aims to goal promote the concern for innovation and entrepreneurship in the university environment of the Campus Technological of the University of Navarra, in collaboration with other centers of the same university," explains Pego. This program also promotes the generation and feasibility analysis of innovative ideas in the field of biosciences in the industrial and service sectors.

In this year's edition, the competition will reward works based on innovative ideas in three fields: Biosciences, Industrial and Services, and Electromobility. "The ideas must have a strong innovative character. Either in the business model , or by the development of a new technology with which a new product-service is obtained", adds Gustavo Pego, who then adds: "It can also be a new range of applications or valuable services where technology may or may not be present". Sustainable social innovation, due to its solidarity dimension, has a special place in the competition.

To participate in the program it is not a prerequisite to have an idea because the first training session will focus on idea generation tools. In the months of September there will be several sessions of Desing Thinking, then a business Canvas will be developed and later there will be a workshop of evaluation of Companies. On September 27th it will be the turn of the Innovation Fair, where there will be stands where the contact between start-ups and investors will be promoted. There will also be a roundtable of entrepreneurs and the submission of award Tecnun Entrepreneur, aimed at alumni of Tecnun entrepreneurs.

Before September 30 participants will have to submit a description of the academic/professional profile of the participants, an Executive summary , a business Canvas and a video explaining the business based on the idea and its feasibility of a maximum of 3 minutes.

The jury will value the attendance to the training sessions; the impact, originality and feasibility of the idea; the quality and rigor of a business Canvas based on the idea; the executivesummary ; the quality of the script and content of the video explaining the idea, as well as its execution.
