On February 7, Carlos Castilla Ruiz made the public defense of his doctoral dissertation, entitled"Design and validation of advanced image analysis tools for the quantification of cancer cell migration in microfluidic microdevices", before a panel chaired by Dr. Norberto Antonio Malpica González, at auditorium of the CIMA building in Pamplona.

After the defense of the thesis, all the members of the tribunal congratulated Carlos Castilla Ruiz and his thesis director , Dr. Carlos Ortiz de Solórzano Aurusa, for the research work carried out. This brings to 644 the number of theses defended at the Campus Tecnológico de la Universidad de Navarra.
