More than 1,000 alumni met again on the Pamplona campus for Alumni Weekend

On Saturday, October 7, the Pamplona campus of the University of Navarra became the meeting point for more than 1,000 alumni who returned to their schools. The event was attended by alumni from the schools of: Architecture, Sciences, Medicine, Communication, Law, Economics and Business, Nursing, Education and Psychology, Philosophy and Letters and Pharmacy and Nutrition.
Each School welcomed its alumni who were able to return to their buildings and the classrooms in which they studied. In addition, they were able to meet their former professors and learn about the changes and new projects of their faculties.
The celebration continued with the main event at the sports center where all the alumni gathered. There, the Alumni President, Inés García Paine (COM'93), and Sergi Molas (MEGEC'05), director of development of the School of Communication, welcomed them before giving way to the colloquium on "Generation Z: our employees, our co-workers, our children". Charo Sádaba (COM'95 | PhD'99), dean of the School of Communication, and alumni María Allende (PEDG'01 | EMBA'10) and José Lopez (PPE'23) were also present.
The rector of the University, María Iraburu (BIO'87 | PhD'93), wanted to be present at this special event to thank all the alumni who attended, "For us to have you come back is very inspiring" she concluded. She also took the opportunity to tell about the new projects that the University is working on, such as the Bioma Center, and encouraged them to promote the Alumni Scholarships.
The event also included a small tribute to the 70 alumni of the class of 1973 who were celebrating their 50th anniversary.
In addition, alumni also took a brief test to measure their knowledge of the University. The ranking was headed by the School of Communication, which won the first award, followed by Philosophy and Letters and Law. Attendees were also able to see a summary of last year's alumni activity and meet the different territorial groups that exist around the world.

The San Sebastian campus joined the celebration by gathering 170 alumni from the School of Engineering to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the XXXII and XXXIII graduating classes.
The alumni gathered there enjoyed a workshop in which they were able to return to the classrooms, workshops, as well as reunite with their classmates. During the main event, they connected with the Pamplona campus to listen to the Rector's speech. At the end of the workshop , the alumni enjoyed a lunch with their class.
