Gestamp and the School of Engineering of the University of Navarra have signed an institutional collaboration agreement agreement . As of today, Gestamp will be part of the committee advisor Business of Tecnun.

During these years, the company has been developing collaborations such as internships, student visits to its plants and training centers, incorporation of young engineers from the University of Navarra in the company and training sessions in various areas.

Likewise, Gestamp, the multinational company specialized in the design, development and manufacture of components for the automotive industry, has been sponsoring the Tecnun eRacing team of the University of Navarra for the past two years, composed of young talents who participate in the Formula Student championships in several countries after designing and developing the prototype of a single-seater vehicle.

Starting this academic year 2019-2020, Gestamp is also collaborating in the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering that Tecnun teaches in Madrid, at the new Graduate School of the University of Navarra. It will also collaborate very soon in the teaching of the new Expert Program in... in Artificial Intelligence that the School of Engineering launches in June. "Gestamp believes that collaboration between companies and academic institutions, in an increasingly dual training model , is core topic and this agreement with Tecnun certainly follows that path," said Francisco Alvarez, director Gestamp Training.  

In relation to the signature of this agreement, Iñigo Gutiérrez, director of development of Tecnun, stressed that "we are very honored by the collaboration that Gestamp offers us for the training of the engineers of Tecnun. This signature will give greater visibility to this relationship and will strengthen new avenues of collaboration in the future".

The event at signature was attended by Francisco Álvarez Herrera, director corporate Training and development of Gestamp, and Iñigo Gutiérrez, from Tecnun-University of Navarra. With signature a very close relationship has materialized, which has been developing for the last ten years.
