More than a thousand engineering students began last week the academic year 2018-2019 in one of the Degrees offered by the School of Engineering of the University of Navarra.

223 new students arrived at Tecnun with a grade average of high school diploma higher than 8, and started the zero course that is organized for 1st year students who wish to reinforce certain subjects. 

It should be noted that 27% of the newly enrolled students are women and 36% come from outside Gipuzkoa. In addition, 14% of the new students are international.

The increasing presence of the international student body at Tecnunas well as the increase in the number of issue students currently doing internships abroad, responds to the efforts of internationalization of the University of Navarra: this is one of the priority objectives of the Horizon 2020 of the academic center.

Activities Fair:

On the other hand, this noon has taken place the Activities Fair 2018/2019 that the School organizes with the goal that the students know the varied offer of activities that are available to them: theater, film club, sports, volunteer activities, etc.

In this way, students will be able to enroll in some of the proposed activities, in order to acquire complementary skills to the technical knowledge of academic record.
