Tecnun and the ULMA Group have signed an agreement to collaborate in the training of students through the development of actions that promote the competitiveness of the company and the approach of students to the world of work.

The agreement has been signed by the Director de TecnunRaúl Antón, and the General Director of the ULMA Group, Iñaki Gabilondo. The goal of the agreement is to establish a framework to contribute to the development staff and professional development of students and to collaborate in the training of these students through internships, Final Projects Degree and Master's Degree Final Projects.

Thanks to this agreement, the ULMA Group, within its strategic objectives and according to its possibilities, will collaborate in the training of students through seminars and student visits to its facilities and production plants. Likewise, the ULMA Group and Tecnun may also establish another subject of collaborations such as public calls for programs in the field of Research and the development.

Raúl Antón has highly valued this "win-win" agreement with ULMA, which he described as a "flagship company". In addition, the company from Oñati will become part of the committee advisor of companies that Tecnun launched last year. "By listening to each other, we are all enriching each other," stressed the director de Tecnun.

The ULMA Group 's relationship with the School of Engineers of the University of Navarra has been strengthened by various activities that have been carried out throughout 2018. Among them, we can highlight the visits that students of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering have made to the facilities of the Group's Businesses. And, on the other hand, different meetings have been held in which the possibility has been analyzed that some of the subjects taught at Tecnun can be focused or adapted to the specific needs of the ULMA Group.

The ULMA Group is one of the most important business groups in northern Spain. It develops its activity around strategic business units and is made up of 8 businesses: ULMA Agricultural, ULMA Architectural Solutions, ULMA Forklift Trucks, ULMA Construction, ULMA Conveyor Components, ULMA Handling Systems, ULMA Packaging and ULMA Piping. It currently has around 5,000 associates and employees and a turnover of more than 800 million euros.
