The University of Navarra and Fom Talent are presenting their first joint training programme, the Executive Programme in Connected IndustryThe programme, aimed at the heads of business organisations, will begin in February 2020 in Madrid.

Tecnunthe School of Engineering of the University of Navarra, and Fom Talent, the training division of FOM, have signed a collaboration agreement to develop joint training activities in the field of emerging technologies, product design and new business models. The first result of this partnership is the launch of the Connected Industry Management Programme, the first edition of which will be held at the University of Navarra Campus in Madrid.

Today, one of the biggest challenges for business leaders is how to address, and successfully execute, the digital transformation of their industrial organisations.

With this 130-hour programme, managers will be able to acquire real knowledge of the main requirements of the fourth industrial revolution, so that decision making is as optimal and correct as possible, in line with the technological advances we are experiencing and the speed of their implementation. A training plan that also stresses the need to develop the Personal Brand as the foundation of leadership in the new digital society.

The presentation of this first Executive Programme in Connected Industry will take place on Tuesday 17 December, at the facilities of the Madrid Campus of the University of Navarra. It will consist of a working breakfast, with a very attractive programme with the participation of leading professionals from the industrial and academic fields. Mr. Ángel J. Gómez Montoro, Director of the Madrid Campus of the University of Navarra, will be in charge of welcoming the participants.

Iñigo Gutiérrez , Development Director of Tecnun-University of Navarra, who will act as academic director of this programme, stresses that: "one of the reasons that has led us to promote this training is the commitment of the University of Navarra to Lifelong Learning. With this Focused Programme, we want to help these professionals to complement their training in order to embark their organisations on digitalisation".

For his part, Pablo Oliete, co-founder of FOM and director of the Programme, expressed his satisfaction with this agreement: "FOM is proud and privileged to be able to collaborate with the University of Navarra, which, in addition to being one of the most prestigious universities in the world, has trained many of the most renowned entrepreneurs and managers in Spanish industry, with whom we are fortunate to collaborate on a regular basis in our organisation. Furthermore, it has been a challenge for FOM to adapt our Master's Degree to a 130-hour executive programme, but we believe that the result has been well worth it. We couldn't be more satisfied.
