The City Council of Pamplona has granted the licence for the urbanization of the place next to which the Biome Center will be built, a new building that will house the Science Museum, the Institute of Biodiversity and the Environment, spaces for the faculties of the area and the headquarters of the Innovation Factory entrepreneurship service. The budget of the implementation of this first stage of the project amounts to more than €2 million. Urbanization works will begin at the beginning of May. 

Like the Biome Center building, the place It is designed by the architect Francisco Mangado. It draws a new pedestrian space of 7,500 square meters, of which 2,832 m2 are green and landscaped areas. The project It is possible thanks to a €2 million grant from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. 

The place wants to be a point of meeting of the University with the city and, at the same time, plans to provide a spatial and circulation continuity with the campus Current landscaping. It is proposed as a uniting element between the areas of the campus separated by the avenues of Pio XII and the street source del Hierro.
