"It is key that the manager knows how to integrate technology with the company's strategy".
Tecnun hosted a round table on "Skills for leading digital transformation".

Tecnun hosted the round table on "Skills to lead the digital transformation", in which the speakers were the professor of Tecnun Mabel Rodríguez, the Chief Digital Officer of CAF, Íñigo Ona, the researcher of Ceit, Diego Borro, and the technological advisor, Pablo Oliete, of Fom Talent. The round table was moderated by the Director of Communication of the School of Engineering, Coro Aycart.
The debate served to present the Connected Industry Management Programme, which will be launched jointly by the University of Navarra and Fom Talent. With this programme, managers will be able to acquire real knowledge of the main requirements of the fourth industrial revolution.
Iñigo Oña, CAF's Chief Digital Officer, pointed out that "it is key that the manager knows how to integrate technology with the company's strategy". For her part, the teacher at Tecnun, Mabel Rodríguez, pointed out that "at the university we train students very well in knowledge about technology, but sometimes when they arrive at a company they find a group of managers who don't quite know when technology can add value to their organisation. And this programme can help managers to find out".
The University of Navarra and Fom Talent present their first joint training action, the Executive Programme in Connected Industry, aimed at the heads of business organisations, which will begin in February 2020 in Madrid.
Today, one of the biggest challenges for business leaders is how to address, and successfully execute, the digital transformation of their industrial organisations.
With this 130-hour programme, managers will be able to acquire real knowledge of the main requirements of the fourth industrial revolution, so that decision making is as optimal and correct as possible, in line with the technological advances we are experiencing and the speed of their implementation. A training plan that also stresses the need to develop the Personal Brand as the foundation of leadership in the new digital society.
