Tecnun hosted the roundtable on "Skills to lead the digital transformation", with the participation of the following speakers: Tecnun professor MabelRodríguez, CAF's Chief Digital Officer, Íñigo Ona, the researcher from CeitDiego Borro, and the technological advisor , Pablo Oliete, from Fom Talent. The round table was moderated by the Director of Communication of the School of Engineers, Coro Aycart.

The discussion has served to present the Connected Industry Management Program, which will be launched jointly by the University of Navarra and Fom Talent. With this program, managers will be able to acquire a real knowledge of the main requirements of the fourth industrial revolution.

Iñigo Oña, Chief Digital Officer of CAF, pointed out that "it is core topic that the manager knows how to integrate technology with the company's strategy". Mabel Rodríguez, a teacher at Tecnun, pointed out that "at the university we train students very well at knowledge on technology, but sometimes when they arrive at a company they find a group of managers who don't quite know when technology can add value to their organization. And this program can help managers to discover this".

The University of Navarra and Fom Talent present their first joint training action, the Executive Programme in Connected Industry, aimed at the heads of business organisations, which will begin in February 2020 in Madrid.

Today, one of the biggest challenges for business leaders is how to address, and successfully execute, the digital transformation of their industrial organisations.

With this 130-hour program, managers will be able to acquire a real knowledge of the main requirements of the fourth industrial revolution, so that decision making is the most optimal and accurate as possible, in line with the technological advances we are experiencing and the speed of its implementation. A training plan that also stresses the need to develop the staff Brand as the foundation of leadership in the new digital society.
