Immersed as we are in plenary session of the Executive Council winter, it is time for the Winter Programs of Tecnun. In the framework of this program, 38 students from different universities, among them Shanghai Jiao Tong University and UTSidney , are currently in Donostia to participate in the Winter Program directed by Elena Azurmendi.

These foreign students will take advantage of their stay at the School of Engineers to take a course on Machine Learning and Data Analytics. They will also visit several companies in the Gipuzkoa area, such as CAF, ORBEA, DANOBAT and IKOR.

But not everything will be study time and visits to companies, as several students from Tecnun, such as Alejandra Areñas, Elisa Igoa or Eneko Ramírez are accompanying the foreign students to make more cultural plans, such as discovering Basque gastronomy, visiting Basque-French villages, museums, etc. On the 20th they will also be able to soak up the traditional tamborrada of San Sebastian.

These Winter Program students will be in San Sebastian until January 25th. Some of them will continue their adventure in Pamplona, where they will continue with an intensive Spanish programme.
