Solidarity and university Zumba
The activity took place at the Sports Center of Tecnun-University of Navarra last Friday.

Last Friday took place in Tecnun a solidarity zumba for the benefit of the project Enrédate of Cruz Roja Gipuzkoa. This program seeks to improve the social relations of the elderly by encouraging their social participation. The day, organized by the Solidarity Bank of Tecnun (Tantaka) started at 18.30h in the Sports Center of the School of Engineers of the University of Navarra. The activity counted with the collaboration of the UPV/EHU, Deusto, Mondragon Unibertsitatea and Musikene, who made the event known among their students. Oliber Nestar, from the dance school Eureka Dance and Vanessa Ocampos, from the Zumba club Amane, led the dance class under the watchful eye of Red Cross Gipuzkoa volunteers such as Enrique Recarte Sureda, Lurdes Malandas, Joseba Castañeiras and several elderly members of the beneficiary program.
Also in attendance were the director of Social Intervention of the Gipuzkoa Red Cross, Elena Luquin, the head of the Senior Citizens Program, Divina Garcia, and other workers of the organization such as Ainhoa Martinez Arrieta, Idoia Garcia Torrado, Encarni Costa Rodriguez, Ainhoa Corcuera and Mailen Costa Estala.
It is worth mentioning the participation of the students of Tecnun Eduardo Panayotti, María José Cabrera, Juan José Torres and Ricardo García, who, in addition to dancing, collaborated in the organization of the event. The event was attended by the director of Tecnun Raúl Antón, the assistant director of students, Jorge Juan Gil, the studies coordinator Coro Aycart, and other employees such as Ignacio Villameriel, Susana Montes Tallón, Jesús Malcorra and Beatriz López, a researcher at the Ceit-Ik4 technology center.
Engineering students such as Alejandro Plaza, Ainhoa Garaialde, Anne Fernandéz, Mirian Rica, Mariona Bosch, Cristina Aranguren, Paloma Gutiérrez Sádaba, Raquel Orueta, Alejandro López de Carrizosa and Marina Ezkurra also participated.
Among the ranks were also youngsters such as Idoia Guruceaga, Camila Vesga, Miren Aristizabal, Xavi Martínez, Fernando Jiménez, Pablo Fraga, Mikel Andonegui, Iñigo Apaolaza, Luis Vitores and Imanol Granada.
Half a hundred people 'moved' to collaborate with the Red Cross Gipuzkoa's program for the elderly. The initiative was promoted by the Solidarity Bank Tantaka-Tecnun whose aim is to encourage the university community to participate in volunteer activities and help the most vulnerable and disadvantaged groups in Gipuzkoa. The dance culminated with a snack courtesy of Todo Todo supermarkets and a raffle of several Red Cross Gipuzkoa first aid kits among the attendees.
This initiative is in addition to other activities promoted during the course in favor of the Red Cross, such as the recent solidarity concert organized by these students and others such as Ignacio Reina, Marian Gimeno, Manuel Terán, Teresa Pardo, Eneko Uruñuela, Maria Martí, Pablo López or the teachers Manuel Sánchez, Noemi Pérez and Carmen García Rosales.
