Researchers from Tecnun receive the 5th Santander Corporate Social Responsibility Research Award

Several researchers from Tecnun-University of Navarra have been recognised in the 5th Santander Research Award on Corporate Social Responsibility. The Santander CSR Chairs Network, sponsored by Banco Santander, has among its objectives to promote general knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) favouring its national and international projection in the academic, public and business spheres.

The topic of the research papers had to be on one of the following themes considered to be of special interest for these awards:

Circular Economy.

Financial inclusion, employability and entrepreneurship.

Women and careers in business. Women's leadership in business.

The research award went to the work entitled "Circular Economy in Spanish SMEs: Challenges and opportunities", prepared by the researchers of Tecnun; Marta Ormazabal, Carmen Jaca and Vanessa Prieto, who worked in collaboration with the researcher Rogério Puga. The award was presented in the context of the Summer Course organised by the Santander CSR Chairs Network "ODS and Circular Economy" held in Calasparra (Murcia) on 8 and 9 July.
