Santiago Hermida, former student of the School of Economics at the University of Navarra, who is currently doing his doctoral dissertation on Design Thinking applied to university teaching, led an inspiring session, full of case studies and effective tools in innovation.
The INVAS and Innovation Fast Track programsare aimed at students and young graduates of the University of Navarra to promote the training and development of skills linked to entrepreneurial activity. These competencies are not only valuable for turning future professionals into people who are aware and prepared for entrepreneurship, but are also highly valued skills by the companies that hire graduates from the university.
After the 4-hour workshop , all the students went to lunch in the old town of San Sebastian where, in addition to enjoying the gastronomy, they were able to consolidate relationships and build the necessary trust in the work teams in which the participants in the programs are configured.
Gustavo Lascurain, student of Industrial Organization Engineering, stated that "the common comment among the participants of the program was reference letter the attractiveness of the Design Thinking tools and the wide and immediate applicability of what was learned during the session".
