The B+INVAS 2019 programme will kick off on 27 February with an information session aimed at students who wish to learn about the key aspects of this initiative.

"The goal of B+INVAS is promote the concern for innovation and entrepreneurship among university students", as highlighted by the director Entrepreneurship of the University of Navarra, Gustavo Pego.

This educational competition promotes the generation and feasibility analysis of innovative ideas in the field of biosciences, in the industrial and service sectors. And as one of last year's participants, Mexican student Katyna Sada, adds, "it gives you the opportunity to open your mind, as you share your knowledge with students from other engineering degrees and even with students from other centres of the University".

Katyna Sada was one of the winners of B+INVAS 2018, who, along with another group of students, won a trip to get to know the Israeli entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.

His partner Daniel Dabdud recognizes that "this adventure has taught him that undertaking an entrepreneurial project is feasible and very worthwhile".

It should be noted that it is not a prerequisite for participation in the programme to already have an idea in mind, as the first training session will focus on idea generation tools.
