180 participants attend the conference Career Technical Orientation
The attendees were able to learn about the scope of Engineering in its different specialties to help them decide on the university studies to pursue.
Last Saturday morning was held at Tecnun conference Guidance on technical careers, aimed at parents and students from high school diploma. A total of 180 people attended quotation at the School of Engineering to learn first hand about the scope of Engineering in its different specialties. It should be noted that the issue number of participants was higher than last year.
The attendees were divided into two classrooms in the Ibaeta and Urdaneta buildings, in order to respect the security measures required by the anti-Covid protocols. The Promotion team, led by Mikel Arcelus and Irene de Vicente, was in charge of welcoming the attendees, with the help of three collaborating students financial aid .
The speakers of the sessions were the Director of Promotion, Mikel Arcelus, and the Director of development of the School, Iñigo Gutiérrez, who were distributed one in each classroom. The conference sessions were attended by students from about 30 different schools, mainly from Guipuzcoa, but also some from Alava and Vizcaya, all of them accompanied by their parents.
It should be noted that, given the high demand for attendance and the issue of people who were left on the waiting list, these conference will be repeated next Saturday, October 31.
Admission Service sessions have begun
In October, the activities organized by the Admissions Service of Tecnun have started. In addition to the workshop orientation on technical careers that will be repeated on the 31st of this month, the following activities are scheduled before the end of the year conference:

November 6 (Friday): conference de Iniciación en Ingeniería en Organización Industrial.

November 14 (Saturday): conference de Puertas Abiertas.

December 22 (Tuesday): conference of Initiation to Biomedical Engineering, Electricity, Electronics and Telecommunications.
