Tecnun and Ceit renew the agreement of collaboration with Emakumeak Zientzian
They have joined 15 other Basque entities to join forces around this project

Tecnun y Ceit have joined 15 other Basque entities to join forces around the project Emakumeak Zientzian through the signature of a new collaboration agreement , thus ratifying their commitment to the objectives of the initiative, such as making visible the activity of women in science and promoting the choice of scientific careers among girls and adolescents.
With these objectives in mind, the entities are joining forces to organise a joint programme of activities on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which is celebrated every year on 11 February.
The 17 entities signing the agreement for the 6th edition of Emakumeak Zientzian are an important representative sample of the science and technology fabric in the Basque Country. Thus, for 2022, the organizing entities of the project Emakumeak Zientzian arePOLYMAT, CIC nanoGUNE, Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), the Center for Materials Physics (CSIC-UPV/EHU), CIC biomaGUNE, Biodonostia, Tecnun -Schoolof Engineering, Ceit, Eureka! Zientzia Museoa, Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Industriales de Gipuzkoa, Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL), Lortek, the School de Informática, the School of Engineering of Gipuzkoa and the School de Chemistry of the UPV/EHU, Elhuyar, and the Science and Technology Park of Gipuzkoa.
The organizing entities, thanks largely to the involvement and dedication of dozens of professionals in the field of science and technology will work to design a comprehensive program with a wide variety of activities so that the message that 'science is for girls' reaches and permeates the largest possible issue people.
