Tecnun celebrates the Opening Ceremony of academic year Graduate 2023-2024

Tecnun celebrated the Graduate Academicofficial opening of the academic year , which this year has a total of 351 master's degree students. The School's director , Raúl Antón, highlighted the University of Navarra's aspiration to dream of "big things," training students to take on challenges from different disciplines that contribute to serving and improving society. "On October 17, 1961, part of a dream was set in motion; a far-reaching university project whose results are now a brilliant reality, with a School of Engineering that already has more than 10 thousand alumni and more than 700 PhDs," stressed Antón, thanking in his speech all the institutions present for the support received.
For his part, Alex Abancens, Director General Manager of the College of Engineers of Gipuzkoa, in charge of delivering the inaugural lecture, stressed the importance of cultivating personal relationships and creativity: "Be creative and do not let yourselves be carried away only by the field of logic. Companies that do not innovate will disappear", he stressed.
The Vice President for Research and Sustainability, Paloma Grau, closed the event by emphasizing the role of the University in a context of increasingly complex challenges: "We no longer train our students only in the acquisition of knowledge, but we train enterprising people, providing them with the right Education and environment to be drivers of change wherever they are".to be drivers of change wherever they are".

Throughout the workshop the Extraordinary Doctorate Prizes were awarded to Josu Etxezarreta, Santiago Figueroa and Tomás Soria.
