i-Calmer, project winner of the first entrepreneurship contest of the University of Navarra in Madrid
40 students from different master's programs presented their business plans to a jury made up by alumni

The first edition of the entrepreneurship program Fast Track program for master's degree students concluded last Wednesday at the University of Navarra 's graduate postgraduate headquarters in Madrid. During the competition, where more than 40 students from the different master's programs of the University participated, the teams had different training sessions on canvas models, financial statements, business plans and communication with which to develop little by little the proposal value of their entrepreneurial projects.
During the final, the teams had to make an elevator pitch in front of a jury formed by alumni who agreed to return to the University to help, guide and decide who the winners would be. The alumni, Álvaro Garridofrom the 94' Journalism graduating class, and Teresa García-Guerrerofrom Journalism '96, formed the jury together with Belén Goñi, director of the Innovation Factory, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Navarra.
Finally, three of the seven projects were awarded prizes. i-Calmer, an ergonomic and technological cushion made of soft material that financial aid helps to fall asleep, won the first prize award consisting of technological material valuedat €1,000. The winning team was formed by SantiagoCastillo, student of the double Master's Degree in Access to the Legal Profession and advisory service Fiscal of the School of Law; Carmen Lucía Gil, student of the Master's Degree in Architecture of the School of ArchitectureAna Belén Nieto, Executive Master's Degree of Corporate Reputation of theSchool of Communication; and Ignacio Toribio, Master of Industrial Engineering of the School of Engineering (Tecnun).
Ecow, a team formed by Irina Alecha, journalism alumni of the School of Communication and head of communication of Atelier by ISEM; Álvaro Pérez, student of the Master in Big Data Science of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Institute (DATAI); Álvaro Campos,Master's Degree in Architecture of the School of ArchitectureJuncal high school program, from the same master's degree, won the award for the best feasible idea with 500€ in technological material. The project consisted of the creation of a co-working space that offers specialized services for e-commerce startups and companies that want to make the leap to online sales.
The award for entrepreneurship, which consisted of another €500 in technological equipment, went to student Javier González, student of the Master in Industrial Engineering fromTecnunThe prize went to Javier González, project Visión VR, which uses augmented reality to record major sporting and musical events so that those who wear virtual reality glasses can enjoy them as if they were there.
La Pera, a project where you can learn and train with your idols, Carry On, a luggage and backpack rental company, Cocinas Contigo, spaces to cook and enjoy with friends and family without washing up afterwards, and Nutrifast, which combines the advice of nutritionists with the delivery of daily or weekly meals to their customers, were the other projects that were part of the first edition of the Fast Track aimed at master's students in Madrid.
