Alumni Lleida organizes a roundtable to reflect on AI from a humanistic point of view.

The roundtable took place last Saturday at the Palacio de Congresos la Llotja for promote the discussion ethics on artificial intelligence.

Last Saturday, the Llotja de Lleida hosted the roundtable "Can we integrate artificial intelligence without losing the human essence?", organized by the board Alumni of the University of Navarra in Lleida. The event brought together leading experts from various fields, such as journalism, medicine, Education and architecture, who offered a reflection multidisciplinary on the influence of artificial intelligence on society. 

Joan de Santiago, president of the Territorial Association of the University of Navarra in Lleida, stressed the importance of this subject of reflections: "In a world full of technical training on artificial intelligence, it is essential to open spaces for reflection on the ethical and human implications of this technology". This vision was the central axis of discussion, which sought to balance technological progress with the preservation of ethical and social principles.

The event was attended by local political personalities such as Jackson Quiñonez, sports councilor of the Lleida City Council; Sandra Castro, second vice-president of the Lleida Provincial Council; and Gloria Rico, councilor of the Lleida City Council, who showed their support for the event and their interest in the topics discussed.

The Territorial Association of alumni of the University of Navarra in Lleida remains committed to organizing events that benefit the socio-cultural and economic fabric of the city. Over the last few years, Alumni Lleida has promoted various activities of great value, such as the visit to the Museum of Lleida, the solidarity event with Aremi, the afterwork at Paradores and the training visit to InGroup. In this same line, the roundtable on artificial intelligence has been an opportunity to discuss the future of technology with a humanistic approach , thus promoting a space for reflection that contributes to development and welfare of the community.
