The students of the Tecnun eRacing team team are on their way back from Barcelona, where they have participated in the last few days in the international Formula Student competition. The sensations with which they return are positive, although they have been hectic and hard work for the students. This is the chronicle of the automotive team of Tecnun at the Montmeló circuit.

They arrived in Catalonia last Wednesday, and the first thing they did was to defend the Design (test of design) to people with a lot of experience in the automotive world as Claude Rouelle. In the afternoon they went over the Business Plan that they presented on Thursday morning.

On Thursday everything went well during scrutineering, but in the afternoon there were problems with the electrical part that could not be solved. Everything seemed to be solvable until Friday morning when complications arose. The members of tractive and electronics were working hard all day to solve them, but they had to stop for a while because it was time to present the Cost. Afterwards, the judges congratulated them, but also gave them some advice, as they were missing some details. However, they remarked that the work had been very good.

However, as the hours passed the team realized that it was going to be difficult to pass scrutineering, but this group never gives up, and after dinner, they managed to solve the problem: The car was in good condition, ready to pass the test. Unfortunately they didn't have time to charge the batteries and they had serious doubts that with the charge they had they could pass fill in the test.

However, they went out for the endurance run, but what they expected came true; during the test one of the cells reached a very low level of charge and the BMS (Battery Management System) detected it, so the car stopped immediately and they could not run the endurance run fill in .

In this way they closed their participation in Formula Student, but they are clear that "this is neither a defeat nor a failure". On Friday they saw it complicated to pass scrutineering, and not only did they achieve it, but they also competed in Autocross and Endurance. "This team has given 200% and we have shown that Tecnun eRacingnever throws in the towel, so we should be proud of what we have achieved," they concluded.

Now it's time to look ahead to next season, with days of reflection and analysis, drawing conclusions and defining objectives. "We will start working on next season with more strength than ever," said the students.
