117 professionals of the University of Navarra are awarded the Silver Medal
"Our mission statement drives us to dream about the impact of what we do," said President, Alfonso Sanchez-Tabernero
On Friday, January 26, the University of Navarra held the Silver Medal ceremony at submission for professionals who have been with the academic center for 25 years. In total, 117 people have received this distinction, 110 from campus in Pamplona, Tecnun and Ceit-IK4, and 7 from IESE, who received the medal on December 22 at a ceremony held in Barcelona.
"Our mission statement encourages us to dream about the impact of what we do, to work with broad horizons, to seek the collaboration of many other people and institutions," said President, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero during the event. "In this way we will be able to aspire to position ourselves at the frontier of knowledge, at the forefront of teaching, research and health attendance ."
The goal of the University of Navarra, explained the President, is to promote large projects "to serve more and better a greater number of people issue ". In this sense, he referred to the launching of the campus in Madrid, with the new headquarters of the Clinic and, with the opening, in a few months, of the postgraduate campus. This mission statement of service, he said, comes to life in the daily commitment of each of the professionals "I want to thank you, on behalf of the University of Navarra, because with your ability to overcome difficulties, with your determination, ingenuity and creativity, you contribute to shaping the University's own identity; you make big dreams compatible with attention to small details. Every day you work with the conviction that in our daily work nothing is more important than caring for each colleague, each student, each patient with all affection".
The Medal, a symbol closely linked to NavarreIn addition to President, Asunción de la Iglesia, a teacher at Constitutional Law, spoke at the ceremony on behalf of the group of medalists. In her speech she pointed out that "all this is a team effort, these medals belong to those who gave us the opportunity to start and continue, to the teachers who taught us the official document". He also stressed that the University of Navarra and the medalists, "from the freedom of both parties, recognize as merit 25 years of performance of a commitment with reciprocal loyalty, knowing that working is much more than fulfilling obligations and receiving a salary at the end of the month", because "working with love changes the dimension of what is done and is a good recipe for happiness".
