Today took place in the auditorium of the Kursaal the Act of submission of Diplomas of Tecnunthe School of Engineering of the University of Navarra. The ceremony was chaired by the Vice President of the University of Navarra, Iciar Astiasarán and was attended by the director of Tecnun, Raúl Antón, the deputy directors, Paloma Grau and Jorge Juan Gil, the director of development, Iñigo Gutiérrez, and the General Manager Javier Aizpún.
The master class was given by Cristina Garmendia, President of Cotec, at position . Previously, students María José Luna and Xabier Eizaguirre presented the event and thanked the presence of family, friends, teachers and the rest of their classmates.
Afterwards, the almost 200 engineering students, belonging to the Class of 2019, have collected one by one the diploma corresponding to their degree program from the academic authorities.
Some of the students who received the diploma today, such as Juan José Torres, Álvaro Momblán, Laura de Frutos, Miren Andonegui, María Irureta, Alejandra Areñas, María José Cabrera and Óscar Merquelanz, reflected on their time at Tecnun in a video that was shown during the ceremony.
After the academic ceremony, students, parents and teachers enjoyed an aperitif in which they took the opportunity to recall experiences from their time at Degree at the School. It should be noted that many of the students are not saying goodbye to Tecnun yet, because they are staying in San Sebastian to study one of the masters offered by the School. Others are also staying at Tecnun, but will be taking the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering at the new postgraduate campus of the University of Navarra in Madrid.
