Datafest Spain
The Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence of the University of Navarra, in collaboration with Ingka Group Digital (IKEA Retail) present
DATAFEST SPAIN - 14, 15, 16 April 2023
A highly interactive event that will take place on 14-16 April 2023 in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madridthat has been designed as a great opportunity for teams to work around the clock to find and share meaning in a rich dataset, bringing together the Spanish data and analytics community.
Your job is to represent your institution by finding and communicating insight into these data. The teams that impress the judges will win prizes, as well as glory for their school. Everyone will have a great experience, lots of food and fun!
During the event, participants will have the chance to put their curiosity, creativity and knowledge to good use.

Schedule
Datafest Spain is divided into three days:
14TH APRIL
Check in will start on Friday afternoon. We will kick off the event with a session where you will be introduced to the business context and the dataset you'll be working with will be revealed.
15TH APRIL
The data will be shared on Saturday morning and teams will start working on the challenge throughout the day.
16TH APRIL
Projects will be due on Sunday afternoon. Teams will submit their insights, predictions and presentations that will be judged by a panel of judges composed of faculty and professionals from a variety of fields. During the Closing Ceremony, the jury will announce the winners of each category and prizes will be awarded.
Food will be provided and different surprise activities will take place during the datathon competition.
Who is it for?

Students graduated in the last 3 years of Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree. |
Students doing their Master's, Doctorate or in the last year of their Bachelor's degree. |

Teams
- Preference will be given to participants who form teams of two to five members. If you don't have a team, we will assign you one.
- The members of each team may be from the same or different universities.
- Several groups from the same university may register.
- In each group there will be a member who will assume the role of captain and who will be in charge of managing communication with the Datafest Spain organization.
