Naroa Coretti is a student of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering at Tecnun, and on 7 February she will go to do her Master's Thesis at the prestigious MIT in Massachusetts, an opportunity that has arisen, as she herself recognises, "because Tecnun offers the option of doing the Master's Thesis in different universities abroad".

Why did you decide to study the MII?

When I finished the Degree of Mechanical Engineering it was clear to me that I wanted to do a master's degree to fill in my training and the main reason why I chose the MII is its generalist nature.

What have you learned from it regarding Degree?

One of the biggest differences with respect to Degree is that you work on a project basis. This way of working is much more similar to that of the companies and allows you to get the skills you need for your working life.

Why would you recommend the Master in Industrial Engineering at Tecnun?

I would recommend the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering for the professional opportunities it offers. It is a profile highly valued by companies and, as it is a multipurpose training, the range of opportunities that it opens up is very wide.

How did the option of going to work at MIT come up for you?

The opportunity to go to MIT came up because Tecnun offers the option of doing the Master's Thesis at different universities abroad, including MIT.

Are you excited about this new project?

The truth is that I am very excited about it. MIT, and specifically the average Lab, is a very special place and I think it is a unique opportunity. I'm leaving on February 7th and I hope to come back with a backpack full of experiences and learning. At least the same as I have had in Tecnun. Here the master's degree provides many anecdotes. Although there are always harder moments, we have had a very good atmosphere and I take with me many fun memories.
