The University of Navarra ranks among the top 100 universities in the world in five areas, according to the QS World University Rankings by subject in its 2020 edition. Among them, Business & Management Studies, which ranks among the top 50, with 29th place in the world.

Also in the 51-100 range are Accounting & Finance, Philosophy (Philosophy), Nursing, and Communication & Media Studies ( average Studies).

The ranking assesses 48 subjects, divided into five broad areas, in which academic and employer reputation, citations of research articles and the H-index - which assesses the productivity and impact of researchers - are specifically weighted. For the 2020 edition, more than 22 million scientific articles, 200 million academic citations and 13,138 university programmes have been evaluated.

QS scores 1,368 universities on each of these indicators and, for those that exceed certain minimum thresholds, classifies them according to the different sub-areas. The University of Navarra has been scored in 33 subjects and ranked in 15, including Law (101-150), Art and design (101-150), Medicine (151-200), Economics and Econometrics (151-200) and Architecture (151-200).

Six degrees on the podium of the best Spanish universities

The University of Navarra occupies the first position in Spain in the area of Social Sciences and Management, according to the ranking of the British company QS. This first place in Spain, which it shares with another university, is added to other first positions at national level in various subjects of the Social Sciences of the ranking, such as first place in Accounting and Finance, second place in Communication and Media Studies, and second in Management and Business Administration studies.

On the other hand, the University of Navarra also obtains good results in area biosanitary at the Spanish level, as second in Nursing or third in Medicine. In the area of the Arts and Humanities in Spain, the position of the University of Navarra stands out in the subject of Philosophy, where the University is second, and in Architecture, where it is fourth.
