On December 14, Oihane Mitxelena Iribarren made the public defense of her doctoral dissertation, entitled "Microfluidic platforms for the validation of new targeted therapies for personalised medicine against osteosarcoma", before the panel chaired by Dr. Alejo Avelló Iturriagagoitia, at classroom 1 of the Miramón building in San Sebastián.

After the defense of the thesis, all the members of the tribunal congratulated Oihane Mitxelena Iribarren and her thesis directors, Dr. Sergio Arana Alonso and Dr. Maite Mujika Garmendia, for the research work carried out. This brings to 640 the number of theses defended at the Campus Tecnológico de la Universidad de Navarra.
