The University of Navarra is the first in Spain according to the opinion that employers have of it and it is for the sixth consecutive year, according to the QS World University Ranking 2022. Since 2016 the University has obtained the best position in Spain in the indicator "Reputation among employers" (Employer Reputation) of the QS global ranking, being this academic year the 104th worldwide. The indicator, considered by the ranking as a measure of employability, is obtained through surveys among executives and managers of staff worldwide, with which QS gathers more than 450,000 nominations.

In addition to this indicator, the QS ranking is based on five other indicators that measure reputation among academics, research impact (citations per professor), teaching quality (student per professor), the international outreach of academic staff (ratio of international professors) and the student body (percentage of international students).

Thus, analysed globally, the University of Navarra is the first private university in Spain, the sixth in the country (of the 29 universities that appear in the ranking). Of the 1,300 universities worldwide that exceed the minimum requirements to be considered, it is the 266th in the world.

For Roberto Cabezas, director of Career Services at the University of Navarra, "the leadership that QS has conferred on us is, above all, a responsibility to continue serving our audiences. The University's core topic is in creating effective networks between students, graduates and companies that allow us to connect talent, relate knowledge and articulate organizations, facilitating innovation, entrepreneurship and business development with a high social impact".

International orientation

The University of Navarra also obtains good results in the international outreach of its students, which has increased by more than 4% with respect to last year, and in the main teaching indicator, the teacher-student ratio, which has risen by more than 7%.

QS World Ranking has evaluated more than 1,673 institutions from 93 countries, although more than 300 universities failed to pass the minimum standards for academic output or reputation. 145 new universities have been included in this edition of the ranking. To compile the different indicators, QS evaluates more than 14.7 million articles, 96 million citations and two million reputation nominations obtained from surveys.
