Lorena Sanz Vilariño, has made this September 29th the public defense of her doctoral dissertation, entitled "Relación microestructura-propiedades mecánicas en aceros microaleados con Nb-Ti y development de una tool para la reconstrucción cristalográfica de la austenita a partir de microestructuras martensíticas", before the tribunal chaired by Dr. D. José María Rodríguez Ibabe.

After the defense of the thesis, all the members of the tribunal congratulated Lorena Sanz and her director, Dr. Beatriz López Soria, and co-director, Dr. Beatriz Pereda Centeno, for the research work carried out.
