The University launches a new edition of its online Experts guide
The publication includes 539 experts, including professors, researchers and practitioners from the academic centre, and 1,572 specialities.

The University of Navarra has published a new online edition of its guide of Experts, a resource aimed at the media, which allows them to locate and establish contact with university professors and researchers.
The goal of this tool is to help journalists to obtain sources of information for their reports, news or opinion articles, as well as to bring the research activity of the academic center closer to society and promote the knowledge dissemination of science and humanities.
The guide of Experts of the University of Navarra was born in 1999 and was one of the pioneers in Spain. More than twenty years later, and with six printed editions published, its online version has been redesigned, updating all the contents and adapting them to the demand for information in recent years. Thus, after the analysis of more than 1,800 media requests, it now includes new terms such as pandemic, covid-19 vaccines, big data, 5G networks, slow fashion, resilience, fake news, brexit, etc.
The publication includes a total of 539 experts, including professors, researchers and practitioners from the academic center, 150 more than the previous edition, published in 2015; and 1,572 specialties organized in 21 areas of knowledge, twice as many as the previous version.
Search by word core topic, area or specialization program
The guide allows you to search by word core topic, by area of knowledge or by specialization program. The specialties are grouped in areas of informative interest (Architecture and housing, Science and biotechnology, Environment and nature, Politics and society...), which have been organized according to both the main research topics of the academic center and the requests of journalists, with a classification criterion similar to that of the sections of the media.
