Ninety companies from a dozen sectors have come to capture the talent of engineering students at the Employment Forum of Tecnun-University of Navarra, which was held on Thursday and Friday at the Ibaeta technological campus in San Sebastian. The goal of this workshop is to provide a direct contact between companies and students in the last years of engineering. The firms carry out presentations, interviews and recruitment processes oriented to employment rate, project end of career and master's degree and student internships.

Among them, some twenty start-ups have shared their needs with the young people, represented by BIC Gipuzkoa and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Navarra. "We have engineering students hired and others developing their Master's Thesis project in start ups created by the University of Navarra, such as Innoprick, and also alumni that have launched their own company as is the case of LINQcase or Hogaru", said the director entrepreneurship of the University of Navarra, Gustavo Pego.  

"The participation of Innovation Factory and BIC Gipuzkoa in this edition shows that startups are attractive professional opportunities for our students, and that their profile is necessary for them," concluded Pego.
