Tugçe Akyazi, has made this September 11 the public defense of his doctoral dissertation, entitled "Fabrication and Integration of Smart Materials for Flow Control in Microfluidic Paper-based Analytical Devices" before the court chaired by Dr. D. Sergio Arana Alonso.

After the thesis defense, all the members of the tribunal congratulated Tugçe Akyazi and his director, Dr. Fernando Benito López and co-director, Dr. Enrique Castaño Carmana, for the research work carried out.
