Antonio Días Ponte made on June 23 the public defense of his doctoral dissertation, entitled "Ultrafast laser inscription of volume diffraction gratings in glass" before the tribunal chaired by Dr. D. Enrique Castaño Carmona.

After the defense of the thesis, all the members of the tribunal congratulated Antonio Días and his directors, Dr. Santiago Miguel Olaizola Izquierdo and Dr. Ainara Rodríguez González, for the research work carried out.
