ABC Compressors awards the best project the subject and Oil Hydraulics at Tecnun

On Wednesday, December 17, ABC Compressors, a company that manufactures compressors for the food and petrochemical industries, visited Tecnun of Engineering to award prizes to the students who won the best project the subject and Oil Hydraulics (Fluid Power).

The winning entry was "Quality Control of Metal Cylinders," which automatically sorted metal cylinders by category and stored them in separate compartments. 

"The machine detects whether the cylinder is 'good' or 'bad', which is how we have classified them, and then sorts them into different modules," explained the students who won the competition. 

The winning students were Nicholas Lopes, Icíar Pérez, Ana Unzalu, Loreto Viñeta, Ferrán Adrover,Fabiana Dávalos, Matthew Dunn, Jon Elizalde, and Alejandro Iraburu, who received award cash award of award . 

The Senior Associate Professor the subject, Gorka Sánchez, explained that the dynamics of the subject of groups proposing their ideas and, with the approval the professors, developing them by selecting actuators, programming the automatons, assembling all the elements, and making the process work.
