Tecnun and SAPA Placencia sign a collaboration agreement agreement

The goal is to collaborate with the formation of student body of the School of Engineering.

Tecnun has signed a agreement with the company SAPA Placencia to collaborate in the training of students through the development of actions that promote the competitiveness of the company, favor the training of students and the approach of students to the world of work. 

The agreement was signed by Ibon Aperribay, director of SAPA Placencia and the director of Tecnun, Raúl Antón. The goal of the agreement is to establish a framework to contribute to the development staff and professional development of students and to collaborate in the training of these students through internships, Final Projects Degree and Master's Degree Final Projects.  

Thanks to this agreement, SAPA Placencia, within its strategic objectives and according to its possibilities,will collaborate in turn in the training of students through seminars and student visits to its facilities and production plants. Likewise, SAPA Placencia and Tecnun will also be able to establish another subject of collaborations such as public calls for programs in the field of Research and development. 

SAPA Placencia's relationship with the School of Engineering of the University of Navarra has been strengthened by several activities that have been carried out over the last few years. Specifically, the company will strengthen its collaboration with the department of Mechanics and Materials in the subject of Machine Elements. SAPA will contribute with its knowledge in the section of Brakes and Gears for the 4th year students of Industrial Technologies and Mechanics. 

SAPA Placencia is an expert in transmissions and its technological areas: gears, clutches, epicyclic trains, control system (TCU), communications, drive-by-wire systems (including braking and steering), hydraulic systems, testing, etc. 

Likewise, this agreement will allow the company to incorporate students for internships and projects in its facilities. All this, in the framework of the University-Company program promoted by the technological campus of the University of Navarra in Donostia-San Sebastian.
