Tantaka Eguna 2025: the workshop of volunteer activities in pictures

The shelves of the Food Bank 's Oiartzun storeroom have been filled again after last weekend's Great Collection. Specifically, as revealed from the social entity, 212,000 kilos of food have been collected. "This is the food source of 21,000 people of Gipuzkoa", emphasizes Pilar Fernández, coordinator of volunteer activities of the entity, who thanks "the time and the desire of all the donors and volunteers who have made it possible".
A total of 46 employees from Tecnun y Ceit joined on Friday, on the framework of the workshop of volunteer activities Tantaka Eguna, and completed the shifts of 6 supermarkets in Donostia. One of them was Yineska Becerra, doctoral student of the department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials of Tecnunwho emphasizes that she finished the activity "with a full heart. It has been a very nice experience and it is touching to see so many people doing their bit".
Rebeca Rico, a researcher in the Robotics division of Ceit , who also collaborated on Friday, knew the work of the Food Bank and had previously done volunteer activities with them, in the first edition of Tantaka Eguna. Although on this occasion her colleagues and she went at a time when there was "less movement", she assures that "it was worth it. It unites you as a team and financial aid you get to know them better staff", she stresses.
On Saturday, 27 people, including students, employees and families collaborated in 4 other supermarkets in the city.
